Job Description

Lasata Senior Living, owned and operated by Ozaukee County and located in Cedarburg, WI, is actively seeking to hire Certified Nursing Assistants that have successfully completed a Medication Aid Program for PM Shift (2:15p-10:45p).
PM Shift:

• 2:15pm- 10:45pm
• 40 hours per week
• PM shift Differential: $2/ hour
• Medtech Differential: $3/ hour
• Weekend Shift Differentials $2/ hour
• Must be able to work hours listed, every other weekend, and every other holiday

Requirements:
Must have an active Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Wisconsin & must be in good standing with the state registry. Must be a licensed Medtech that has completed a Medication Aid Program. Must be able to work as both a Medtech and CNA.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to administer medications following the 7 rights of medication administration
• Appropriately updates nurse of refusals.
• Takes and charts vital signs, reporting changes to the nurse.
• Performs and records basic resident care such as bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, bowel and bladder training.
• Assists in meeting resident’s nutritional needs by serving food trays, assisting with feeding, recording intakes/outputs and weights.
• Assists with resident positioning, transferring and ambulation according to care cards.
• Adheres to all safety rules and practices infection control measures per policy and procedure.
• Establishes and maintains open, supportive & positive communication with residents, families, peers, nurses and other departments.
• Attends all mandatory in-services & continuing education opportunities as appropriate to meet federal requirements.
• Reports changes/differences in resident status/condition on a timely basis, maintains resident confidentiality.
• Documents care information per policy and procedure.
