Compensation & Compensation

• 40 hours per week Sunday-Thursday 8-4:30pm (flexible)
• Primarily day shift hours but hours may be adjusted 
• Pay: $60,000/annually

Job Description

• Provides pastoral care to residents and their families through regular visitation and in times of need.
• Prepares crisis intervention and responds promptly to all referrals from administration and support services.
• Prepares order of worship and advises residents of place, time and frequencies. 
• Assists residents in end of life services to meet their needs, carry out their wishes, preserve their dignity, etc. through empathy, understanding and cooperation.

Qualifications

• Master of Divinity degree or equivalent and be ordained or licensed to ministries of word and sacrament.
• Ordination in a mainline Protestant body (UMC, UCC, Presbyterian U.S.A., ELCA, Episcopal Church, American Baptist) preferred. 
• One unit of ACPE-accredited clinical pastoral education and three years experience in hospital or eldercare chaplaincy required.
