We are seeking a diligent and proactive Courtesy Patrol person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our premises, assets, and personnel. They will maintain a high level of vigilance and ensure a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and customers.
This is a contract position - $18.00 per hour and working hours are 9pm to 5am. (Hours and days may change or be modified due to needs of business.)
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other people to patrol against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Conduct regular patrols by walking of premises to detect suspicious activities, safety hazards, and breaches.
• Respond and/or call regarding disturbances. Provide timely and accurate reports to management and law enforcement when necessary.
• Perform routine safety checks and inspections of the premises to ensure compliance with company's safety regulations and protocols.
• Assist and act swiftly and efficiently in the event of an emergency.
• Provide customer service and assistance and guidance to visitors and employees, ensuring a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
• Maintain detailed documentation and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and safety checks.
Required Qualifications
• Prior experience in courtesy patrol, or related field is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods, conduct patrols, and respond to emergencies promptly.
• High level of integrity and professionalism. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus
Working Conditions
• This position requires working in shifts, including nights, nights into early morning, weekends, and holidays.
• This position involves working outdoors, in various weather conditions.
• This position requires standing, walking, for extended periods.
