Herdsman Position available on a 500 cow, family-owned, modern dairy farm in East Central Iowa. Responsibilities include herd heath-detection and treatment of fresh, sick and mastitic cows, assisting with veterinarian care, IV's, hoof health, record keeping (PC Dart) and calving. MUST have general dairy farm knowledge. Need to have valid driver's license, good written and oral communication skills, ability to problem solve with minimal supervision, and be dependable, trustworthy and willing to work as a team member. Salary and benefit package based on experience and education.
