Salary Range: $67,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and COGS to identify trends and cost reduction opportunities.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts for production, sales, and operational expenses.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for operational performance and executive review.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual results, budget, and forecast, providing actionable insights.
• Evaluate capital expenditure proposals, including ROI and payback period for new equipment or plant upgrades.
• Perform product line profitability analysis and margin analysis to support pricing and strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with operations to identify and implement process improvements and cost efficiency initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in cost accounting principles and practices, specifically within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ability to analyze production costs, inventory valuations, and operational efficiencies.
• Experience utilizing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Expertise in manufacturing cost accounting principles (e.g., standard costing, variance analysis).
• Proficiency with major ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Understanding of supply chain finance and inventory optimization.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
