Position Summary:
The Human Resources Manager leads HR functions to support a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace. This role provides strategic guidance, oversees recruitment and onboarding, manages employee relations, and ensures HR compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Foster an inclusive and positive work culture through employee engagement initiatives and leadership support.
Manage talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies.
Implement and monitor performance evaluations and development programs.
Administer HR policies, benefits, and compensation programs while ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Coordinate training in HIPAA, ethics, harassment prevention, and professional development.
Act as a resource for managers and employees on workplace issues, conflict resolution, and employee relations.
Lead employee recognition programs and special HR projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2 years of HR experience preferred.
SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent HR certification preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Commitment to organization's mission.
Other Requirements:
Valid North Dakota Driver's License and current immunizations/PPD.
Willingness to travel between NHC health centers.
Availability for occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
