Job Description
We are currently hiring a New York State Certified Peer Support Specialist to provide empathetic, recovery-focused support to individuals facing mental health or substance use challenges. As a Peer Support Specialist, you will use your lived experience and professional training to inspire hope, promote wellness, and assist clients in achieving their recovery goals through in-person services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one peer support to clients in person, sharing personal experiences to foster hope and recovery.

Requirements

• Valid New York State Peer Support Specialist Certification (please submit a copy of your original certificate with your application).
• Lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, non-judgmental approach to client care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in peer support or related role.
