LaSalle Network is seeking a driven Real Estate Legal Assistant to join a busy and growing commercial real estate practice in Chicago. This direct-hire opportunity puts you at the center of complex real estate deals, supporting attorneys from contract review through closings. What You’ll Do:
Review, edit, and format commercial real estate documents using Word and Excel
Submit new matters, run conflict checks, and coordinate intake processes
Manage daily time entry and assist with billing workflows
Support attorneys throughout commercial real estate closings
Compile closing binders, track post-closing items, and manage deliverables
Create PowerPoint presentations for client meetings and internal reporting
Maintain confidentiality of all firm and client information
Handle attorney scheduling, travel logistics, meetings, and expense reporting
What We’re Looking For:
3–5 years of legal or commercial real estate administrative experience
Experience with commercial real estate closings is required
Strong Microsoft Office skills; iManage/Aderant preferred
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and multitasking ability
Strong communication and client-service skills
Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
High school diploma required, additional education or certifications a plus
