Description Staff Accountant - Contract-to-Hire Pay: Up to $31/hour (Contract) | $66,500 (Perm) Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days in office / 2 days remote Start Time: Flexible, between 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM (consistent schedule required) About the Role We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support a high-volume, fast-paced accounting team. This role is temp-to-hire and offers the opportunity to work across a variety of accounting functions including reconciliations, fixed assets, and month-end close. Key Responsibilities + Perform income and expense reconciliations + Handle intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations + Support monthly consolidation reporting + Assist with quarterly and year-end close, as well as annual audits + Work with large datasets and exported data + Participate in cross-training within the accounting department + Support system upgrades or conversions as needed + Communicate status updates, deadlines, and questions clearly and promptly Requirements Required Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business + Minimum 2 years of accounting experience + Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables + Strong attention to detail + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment + Willingness to ask questions, seek clarification, and take direction + Strong sense of ownership and accountability + Ability to learn quickly and adapt Work Environment + Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite) + Collaborative team environment with cross-training + Offices located across the U.S., so department hours may vary + Occasional overtime may be available How to Apply If this opportunity matches your skills and career aspirations, we encourage you to apply today!
