Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in Grand Prairie, Texas. This role is integral to the financial operations of our company, requiring a meticulous individual to manage accounting processes and ensure accuracy in financial records. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and expertise in analyzing financial data. Responsibilities: - Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash receipts. - Manage and maintain the general ledger to ensure accurate financial recordkeeping. - Prepare cash forecasts and conduct regular check runs to support financial planning. - Track and manage fixed assets, ensuring proper documentation and compliance. - Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. - Analyze accounting data to generate financial statements and reports. - Develop and enforce accounting policies and methods to maintain compliance and efficiency. - Enhance accounting systems and procedures for improved operational performance. - Create and maintain advanced spreadsheets, utilizing tools like Power BI. - Process foreign currency payments and analyze data using Microsoft Business Central. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles. - Strong experience with journal entries and general ledger management. - Advanced computer skills, particularly with Power BI and Microsoft Business Central. - Ability to analyze complex financial data and produce accurate reports. - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. - Familiarity with arranging and processing foreign currency payments.
