About Us:
We are a licensed childcare center dedicated to providing a warm, nurturing, and enriching environment for young children. Our team is passionate about early childhood education and committed to helping every child thrive socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. We are currently seeking a dedicated and energetic Toddler Educator to join our team and support the development of children ages 12 months to 36 months.

Duties

Position Summary:
The Toddler Educator plays a vital role in supporting a developmentally appropriate, safe, and engaging learning environment. This position involves planning and implementing daily activities, building strong relationships with children and families, and working closely with a team of educators to ensure a high-quality early learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Create a nurturing and responsive environment for toddlers
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support early learning and development
• Maintain daily routines and classroom management strategies
• Promote social-emotional growth through positive guidance and interaction
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized classroom
• Communicate effectively with families regarding their child’s day, development, and needs
• Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to uphold center policies and maintain licensing standards

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and meet physical demands of working with young children
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Background check and fingerprinting required in accordance with state licensing

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting
• Strong understanding of toddler development and age-appropriate practices
