Job Summary: We are seeking experienced 1 st Class Shipfitters for a Shipyard that does outside New Construction work in Lockport . Candidates must be willing to work 40 to 50 hours. All Shipfitters will have to pass a hand-on test and interview with the supervisor.
Key Requirements
Must Have
· Minimum 3 years of experience as a 1 st Class Shipfitter.
· Must have all Shipfitters tools
· Must pass a drug screen
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with industrial or Fabrication shop Ship fitting
· Strong knowledge of Ship fitting safety procedures.
· Proven reliability and consistent attendance.
· Experience working indoor and outdoor Ship fitting environment.
